The LeVoy Daniel Memorial Scholarship Awards

LeVoy Daniel Memorial Scholarships are awarded to two undergraduate students each year for the Fall and Winter semesters at Saginaw Valley State University.  Each student receives $500, payable in $250 increments per semester.  To qualify, applicants must: -Be a member of Valley State Employees Credit Union, or the spouse or child of a member.  The member must be in good standing with the credit union. -Have achieved at least a 2.0 grade point average, either in high school or previous coursework at the collegiate level. Applicants can either be full-time or part-time students, and 2007 freshmen may apply.  Recipients will be selected on the basis of academic achievement; financial need will not be considered in the selection process.  Applicants will be required to submit a written application.  Previous scholarship recipients may reapply.   Recipients will be selected by SVSU's Director of Scholarships and Student Financial Aid in consultation with the Director of Admissions, if appropriate.  If you would like more information or an application, please call or stop by the credit union's Saginaw office.  The application period is from April 1 through June 30 of each year.
